Enjoy the beautiful Kintyre Peninsula - stay for any two nights or more at the weekend – including Friday, Saturday or Sunday – and enjoy a special Summer break rate (during June, July, August or September 2010 ) from £62 per person per night for dinner, bed and breakfast (when sharing a double or twin room). Child accommodated free in parents' room (large double only). Also works for golf or walking breaks when sharing twin or double rooms.

Offer includes full breakfast each morning: including selection of fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurts, preserves, local organic eggs, bacon, sausages etc or locally smoked Kippers, Haddock or Smoked Salmon. Allowance of £25 per person per night towards a sumptuous three course dinner from our new a la carte menu – all dishes home-made, including breads. We specialise in local seafood and shellfish such as Loch Fyne Langoustines, Scallops, Mussels, Kintyre Squat Lobster, Turbot, Halibut, Monkfish, Sole and much more. Also succulent Lamb & Beef from Ifferdale Farm, local produce, Kintyre stalked game and Campbeltown & Gigha cheese. Plus a free bottle of house wine per couple with your first night's dinner (please mention Spring Break Bottle offer).

Rates vary according to room size etc – Standard double bedded rooms - £62 per person; Room 15 or large double rooms with extra bed £67 per person (child stays free B&B, children's menu available); Room 4, the Four Poster Honeymoon Junior Suite - £87 per person. All rates include
full breakfast each morning, £25 per person dinner allowance each night, and free bottle of house wine per couple on first night of stay.

Golfing Breaks - Summer Weekend Break Rates available
"The best opening hole in the World.'' - so stated Jack Nicklaus of the drive across the Atlantic at Machrihanish. This world famous Championship links course, established in 1876 and re-designed by Old Tom Morris, is only a ten minute drive away from Craigard. And remember, guests of Craigard House Hotel benefit from 10% discount on Green Fees at Machrihanish GC.

A new classic links course, Machrihanish Dunes, opened in July 2009 - to the North of the existing course. This, the first links course to be built on the West Coast of Scotland for a hundred years, has been designed by David McLay Kidd, who was responsible for the new Castle Course at St Andrews, as well as Bandon Dunes in Oregon, which is ranked in the top 40 courses in the world. - see www.thewaygolfbegan.com.

Kintyre Way Breaks - Summer Weekend Break Rates available
Several walking groups have made the decision to base themselves at Craigard for the duration – organising the excellent local taxi network to ferry them out in the morning to their chosen section, and to collect them later as required.   This obviates the need to transport heavy kit from place to place.  Please enquire about group discounts and one stop for transport bookings etc. Kintyre Way Breaks can also benefit from Summer Break rates where applicable - see above.
